Located within The Armes Family Cancer Care Center, by choosing our practice patients receive a full spectrum of cancer care services within one centralized community campus. Radiation and infusion therapies are available as treatment options for our cancer patients.
Our radiation oncologists provide radiation therapy using high-energy ionizing radiation to eliminate cancer cells by delivering a dose of radiation to tumors and other potentially cancerous areas. Through a series of treatments to highly focused areas, radiation can be delivered to malignant cells while sparing the less sensitive healthy tissue. Radiation is used to:
- Save lives by curing certain diseases
- Prolong life by stopping the growth of tumors
- Ease suffering by reducing pressure, bleeding, and relieving pain
Infusion therapies are also offered to treat a variety of cancers, including but not limited to:
- Chemotherapy
- Immunotherapy
- Monoclonal antibodies
- IV treatments and supportive therapies
- Port care and phlebotomy
- Additional services as needed
Additionally, patients with hematologic diseases are given exceptional care by our experienced providers. Our team can provide IV iron therapy for patients with iron deficiency anemia and other related symptoms. Other treatments are also available for hematologic patients.
Our goal is to provide effective treatment, and our team believes in offering a variety of treatment options. For that reason, many patients participate in clinical trials and closely monitored studies of new treatments for cancer patients. No matter the treatment chosen, our staff strives to always provide exceptional care.
