BVHS: An Integrated Health System 

Blanchard Valley Health System cares for nearly 4,000 patients each and every day.

Blanchard Valley Health System is more than a hospital. BVHS is an integrated health system serving an eight-county region. Extending beyond Blanchard Valley Hospital and Bluffton Hospital, our network of care includes a family of physicians and caregivers offering services for patients of all ages and needs. We have more than 50 physician offices conveniently located throughout our service area, and you can call 419.422.APPT if you need a primary or specialty care provider.

BVHS is making it easier than ever to access care with online self-scheduling for several services. Patients can now conveniently book appointments directly through the BVHS website, with real-time availability for routine check-ups, follow-ups, and more—choosing the primary care physician or provider that best fits their needs.

Across a range of services including cardiovascular, neurosciences, women and children's, orthopedics, behavioral health, general medicine, general surgery, oncology, and post-acute care, BVHS provides comprehensive care without patients ever leaving the community. We also offer home health, hospice, imaging, laboratory, and rehabilitation services at multiple ancillary service locations. Additionally, BVHS provides expedient ambulance services through Hanco EMS.

Additionally, as one of only 45 members of the Mayo Clinic Care Network, our physicians can consult with Mayo Clinic specialists to provide second opinions at no cost to patients.
