Mind Matters: A Community Brain Health Series

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) and 50 North are partnering to present Mind Matters, a free, interactive three-part series focused on supporting lifelong brain health.
Building Healthy Habits for Optimal Brain Health
Tuesday, October 6 | 4–7 p.m.
The series kicks off with an interactive event designed to help participants learn practical ways to support brain health. Participants will rotate through six stations led by healthcare professionals and wellness experts covering:
- Exercise
- Brain challenges
- Nutrition
- Social connection
- Sleep
- Preventive health and wellness
At each station, participants will have opportunities to ask questions, take part in activities, and receive practical resources they can use at home.
Additional Mind Matters Sessions
Tuesday, November 3 | 4–6 p.m.
Learn how different healthcare teams can help address brain health concerns and support healthy aging.
Tuesday, December 1 | 4–6 p.m.
Explore community support, services, and resources available for care partners and families.
Registration Information
- Registration opens September 1.
- Call 50 North at 419.423.8496 to register.
- Anyone age 40 and older is encouraged to attend.
- You do not need to be a 50 North member to participate.
- Attendance at all three sessions is encouraged because each event builds on information shared in previous sessions, but attending all three is not required.
