What is Dementia Friends?
Dementia Friends is more than just a class — it’s a movement to change the way our community thinks, talks, and acts about dementia. In this interactive session, you’ll:
- Learn what dementia is (and isn’t)
- Discover simple, everyday ways you can make life easier for someone living with memory loss
- Gain effective communication tips and caregiver strategies
- Join the effort to create a more inclusive, supportive community for all
Who Should Attend? Everyone! Whether you’re a:
- Caregiver or family member
- Business owner or service professional
- Student, volunteer, or member of a church community
- Or simply someone who cares about making a difference
This session is designed for you. No medical background required — just an open heart and willingness to learn.
