Dementia Friends- Community Member Session

What is Dementia Friends?

Dementia Friends is more than just a class — it’s a movement to change the way our community thinks, talks, and acts about dementia. In this interactive session, you’ll:

  • Learn what dementia is (and isn’t)
  • Discover simple, everyday ways you can make life easier for someone living with memory loss
  • Gain effective communication tips and caregiver strategies
  • Join the effort to create a more inclusive, supportive community for all

 

Who Should Attend? Everyone! Whether you’re a:

  • Caregiver or family member
  • Business owner or service professional
  • Student, volunteer, or member of a church community
  • Or simply someone who cares about making a difference

 

This session is designed for you. No medical background required — just an open heart and willingness to learn.
