R.A.C.E. to Safety: Fall Fire Training

September 23–25, 2026 | Multiple BVHS Locations

BVHS associates are invited to attend an in-person R.A.C.E. and P.A.S.S. fire safety training led by BVHS Facility Services and the Findlay Fire Department.

All new associates hired within the last 12 months must attend if they did not participate in the May 2026 course. Sign-up is not required. Associates in EVS, Facility Services, and Security are also requested to attend, along with Dietary associates at select locations.

Wednesday, September 23

• 9 to 11 a.m. | Wellness Park Campus – In front of the associate entrance

• 2:30 to 4 p.m. | Findlay Surgery Center – Parking lot

Thursday, September 24

• 6 a.m. | Birchaven Village – Main dock by the generator

• 10 a.m. to noon | EasternWoods Campus – Parking lot between The Armes Family Cancer Care Center and EasternWoods Outpatient Center

• 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. | Birchaven Village – Main dock by the generator

Friday, September 25

• 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30, or 11:30 a.m. | Blanchard Valley Hospital – Parking lot #3

All participants will be entered into a drawing to win a fire extinguisher for their home.
