About the Session

Dementia Friends is an informational session designed to help community members better understand dementia and the small things they can do to make a difference in the lives of those affected.

Participants will learn effective communication techniques and best-practice strategies for supporting individuals experiencing memory challenges, as well as their caregivers and families. Join us in helping create a more understanding, supportive, and dementia-inclusive community.

Who Should Attend?

This free session is open to anyone interested in learning more about dementia and how to better support people experiencing memory challenges. Participants may include caregivers, family members, business owners, service professionals, church and faith communities, students, volunteers, and others. All community members are welcome.

Attendees will receive access to informational materials and resources to help support individuals living with dementia, caregivers, and families.

Registration

Registration is free and available online. Space is limited to 30 participants.
