Bluffton Hospital CT Department Earns ACR Reaccreditation, Demonstrating Commitment to Quality and Patient Safety

05.21.2026

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is proud to announce that the computed tomography (CT) department at Bluffton Hospital has successfully achieved reaccreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR), reinforcing its commitment to delivering high-quality imaging services and ensuring patient safety.

ACR accreditation is a nationally recognized distinction awarded to facilities that meet rigorous standards for image quality, personnel qualifications, equipment performance, and quality assurance processes. The reaccreditation affirms that Bluffton Hospital’s CT department continues to uphold these standards while providing exceptional diagnostic care to the community.

“This achievement reflects the dedication and expertise of our CT team, who consistently prioritize patient safety and diagnostic excellence,” said BJ Pasztor, RN, chief operating officer of acute care services and chief nursing officer at BVHS. “Maintaining ACR accreditation is not only a benchmark of quality—it also ensures we meet important regulatory and payer requirements while delivering trusted care close to home.”

The ACR accreditation process includes a comprehensive review of clinical protocols, staff credentials, equipment performance, and ongoing quality control measures. This designation is valid for three years and serves as an important assurance to patients that they are receiving care that meets the highest national standards.

BVHS extends its congratulations and appreciation to the Bluffton CT team members who contributed to this accomplishment.
