Blanchard Valley Health System Welcomes Grant Corven, DO, to Primary Care at Wellness Park

Blanchard Valley Health System (BVHS) is proud to welcome Grant Corven, DO, to the team of expert healthcare professionals at Primary Care at Wellness Park in Findlay.

Dr. Corven is an internal medicine physician dedicated to providing compassionate, prevention-based care to the Northwest Ohio community. He has extensive experience treating and managing chronic diseases and movement disorders, as well as expertise in managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes.

“We are excited to welcome Dr. Corven to our team,” said Kelly Shroll, chief operating officer of ambulatory services at BVHS. “His commitment to delivering preventative, patient-centered care aligns with our mission of Caring for a Lifetime, and he will be an excellent addition to the expert physicians and providers at Primary Care at Wellness Park.”

Dr. Corven recently completed an internal medicine residency at Naples Comprehensive Health in Naples, Florida. There, he gained hands-on experience providing personalized care to patients of all ages. Prior to his residency, he received a Bachelor of Science in Education with a focus in Health Promotion, Nutrition, and Exercise Science from The Ohio State University and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. 

Dr. Corven’s background extends beyond primary care. He has worked as a research coordinator and quality data specialist for the Central Ohio Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Services, where he developed health programs and coached pediatric patients with type 1 diabetes. Additionally, he created exercise and therapy plans for patients with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders at Total Healthworks.

“I am excited to return to my home state of Ohio, where I can care for my community,” Dr. Corven shared. “I am passionate about delivering personalized care to each and every patient, and I’m proud to join an organization that prioritizes compassionate, high-quality primary care.”
